Need Advice
Okay, I need some friendly advice. Mark and I have been looking for a home for a couple months now. We have seen lots of homes. Some homes are very nice and others not so nice. We have considered 3 homes thus far. One we decided was too expensive, another we decided was not for us, and the third home we lost to other buyers. Now we have come upon a 4th home that is very nice, but we cannot bring ourselves to make an offer. This lovely house is in a city called Lakewood, but Mark and I have fallen so in love with the city of Golden (where we are renting) that we do not want to leave it. So should we listen to our heart and shoot for a home in Golden or should we listen to our pocket book and take the home in Lakewood? How do we know what the Lord wants us to do? Any advice?

I would listen to my heart, not the money. If you are waiting on God and asking for His will, you will find the home you are meant to be in. Remember that He works alot slower than us...we tend to rush things. You will not 'miss out' on a home that God has for you. If it is truly His will, it will remain available for you. Ask, wait, listen, trust.
the Lord brought you to Golden either for a season for more time according to His will. the fact you're unsettled concerning Lakewood vs Golden means, in my humble opinion, that you should wait .. that something is keeping you in Golden for a greater purpose. those are my thoughts.

What I have found when presented with two directions, is to try out one direction and if it's not the Lord's Will for you, he will close that door. Then you know where to go from there. Pray first though! Then, be willing to follow His Will even if it isn't what you think you want.

i think if you are still confused about it you should do nothing. don't push to buy something without knowing for sure its Gods direction. It sounds to me like the timing isn't quite yet. If you wait a little some incredible deal may come. Above all Hear God and Follow your peace. Both of you not just one.
