The Little Church in the Snow

Here is the little church we attended last Sunday.

I am on the shelf these days, homesickness is getting to me.  The Lord told me that I would be in for a time of mourning.  It is no fun dealing with a broken heart.  I did a little more exploring today.  I am slowly finding out that I like being close to the mountains even though it gets more snow, it just feels right.

I'm glad to hear you are getting out and exploring...finding the places you like. I remember doing that when we moved to KS/MO. I would drive on all the country backroads and over time, I discovered the areas I liked best and where I would be happy to live(be planted). It did over time become my home too. Someday we will travel with our wee camper 'The Pearl' and see it all again. I know I will cry because I did leave a piece of my heart there(the prairie girl part of my heart). If you are still in CO. when we take that trip we will stop and visit you!

glad you are adjusting to the mountains. Did you like the church? I will keep praying for you :-)

I love the mountains too. Homesickness will go away eventually. Just concentrate on each day and maybe keep a journal that you can write in at the end of each day. Find something that was a blessing to you that day. Sort of like Pollyanna's "Glad Game". Though it looks like you are doing that right here on this blog! :D Know that you have the prayers of your friends! ((hugs))
